Harbor Scrapbooking owners have been hosting weekend crops since 2000. It is our passion to put on fun, spacious events where you can enjoy your girl time and work on your projects. We are a Maryland Scrapbook company based near Annapolis, MD.

Our Scrapbook Weekends are known to fill up within hours of the event registration opening day and time. Please do not hesitate to sign up. See the tabbed menus below for more detailed information on our weekend crops.
We have crops 3-4 times per year in Pennsylvania. We use two hotels located close to the MD/PA line:
Radisson Hotel 1150 Camp Hill By Pass Camp Hill, PA 17011 (1 hr 45 mins from Annapolis)
Crowne Plaza Reading 1741 Papermill Road Reading, PA 19610 (2.5 hrs from Annapolis)
We have found that these two PA hotels provide a spacious venue, along with awesome customer service, and reasonable pricing for our events. We have been very pleased with these venues and their staff. WE know you will be too!

Thursday Start Option:
Each of these events can add an early start option of starting on Thursday at 4 p.m. for just $30.00. When you register, you will see the Thursday night check box to select to sign up for this extra 12 hrs of cropping. The regular start time is noon on Friday.

*Note: If you intend to pay the early bird fee, you do not have to send a deposit, just pay in full by the early bird date.

Attendees make their own hotel room reservations under the Harbor Scrapbooking Room Block. We get special pricing from each hotel:

Starting with the Fall 2016 dates, we now offer the option for a 4 day crop. You get an additional 12 hours of scrapbooking at our weekend events for just an extra $30 crop fee. You get to arrive on Thursday to set up early, settle in, catch up with your friends, and start creating.
The extra scrap hours are as follows:
Thursday 4 pm – 12 a.m. Friday 8 a.m. – noon
You will have to add an additional Thursday night stay to your hotel reservation. The hotel has extended the Harbor Scrapbooking pricing for this extra day. Please remember to ask for the Harbor Scrapbooking room block. You will find an option to select a check box to select this extra Thursday night early cropping time on the event registration form.

You may register for a weekend crop starting at 7 a.m. on the date that registration opens. The registration open date is announced on this website under the “Dates” tab and in our email.

Because of our many different systems (information newsletters, registration confirmation, payment confirmation and individual emails from the owner), emails can come from many different addresses regarding the event. Any of these addresses can be potentially be blocked by your spam blocker. Adding the following addresses to your email contact list reduces this problem. If your are a returning attendee who is not receiving emails after adding the above emails to your contact list, please confirm your current email with us. You can do this by sending a email to info@harborscrapbooking.com and letting us know you are having difficulty and what your current email is. We will update the email in our database which should fix the problem as well.
1. You can register via the register button above or click on the date itself 2. You will be prompted to sign in as a new registrant or a previous attendee. Use your most current email address (send an email to info@harborscrapbooking.com if you need to update your address) 3. Fill out the registration form as you are prompted. 4. Extra Thursday night of scrapbooking: Select the “Extra Night (Thursday) (Additional $30)” check box if you wish to add this option 5. Seating: To ensure that your group is seated all together, you can either list all members of your group under the tablemate section of the registration for or you can come up with a group name that you will all use. 6. Groups: Be sure to coordinate with your group members and sign up close to the same time so that you can ensure that each person in your group gets a spot. 7. Closest Tablemate: Even if you use a group name, please put the name of the person you prefer to sit closest to. For instance, if you are coming in a group of 8 and want to sit right next to you sister, mother or best friend, please her name in the first tablemate section -Accept the cancellation policy -Select the Submit button
Once the registration page is complete, you will be forwarded to a payment page that will need to be filled out. Your payment options are as follows:
1. Select Pay by Check $183 early bird/$190.00 regular pay (cash/check discount) 2. Select pay by Credit $185.50 (early bird online payment) or $192.50(Regular on time online payment) 3. If you are paying by check, you have 2 weeks to send the check in for your first day crop. You will receive a confirmation email with instructions with the address for where to send your check. When writing a check you pay the discounted cash/check price of $183/$190 not the online fee of $185.50/$192.50.
Note that in order to pay the early bird fee, you must be paid on or before the early bird date that is advertised under the dates tab. If you are mailing a check, it must be postmarked by the early bird date.
You should receive a confirmation email once you have properly registered (and hopefully follow our hints in instruction #1 above for adding our emails to your address book). You will receive one confirmation email confirming your registration and payment method. IF you choose “pay by check” you will see the address for mailing your check to in the confirmation email. If you choose “pay by credit” you will see your that method listed in the confirmation email. Credit card payments will also receive a second confirmation email to confirm your credit card payment itself. Note: Prices may change slightly in 2017.
IF you DO NOT get any kind of confirmation email, please email me with your full contact info and I will check your account and see why you did not get the confirmation.

Event attendees are responsible for reserving their own hotel room. We use two different venues to hold our events. Please be sure to pay attention to which event you are attending. You can find the hotel information assigned to each event under the dates tab.

Price: $103 + tax per night

Category 2: for those who strongly prefer no steps (this request is fulfilled after all category 1’s are fulfilled. Any overflow of this category will be placed in category #3)
Category 3: Willing to walk 6 steps or drive around to the outside to no-steps access doors.
Category 4: Willing to go up one full flight of steps to the 2nd floor (only a small percentage of our group will need to volunteer for this floor and it is much appreciated.)
Path to the Convention Center: Note that there are steps from the hotel into the main convention center where the crop room is located. So, we will all have a few steps no matter where our hotel room is located. 🙂 There is a wheel chair ramp into the convention center as well.

You may start to arrive at noon on Friday. You may unload your car at the front of the convention center which is the short building in the front parking lot.
There will be carts for you to unload your car. The crop room is inside the main convention center doors (straight a head). We ask that you unload your items onto the cart and then move your car away from the front of the building before rolling the cart into the crop room. This will keep you from blocking others from unloading while you are signing in and finding your seat. This will reduce frustration for all.
Once you have parked your car, roll the cart to the front of the crop room and proceed to the registration desk just outside of the crop room. Sharon, otherwise known as MOM, will give you your table assignment. Then, unload your cart as quickly as possible and return it to the front doors for the next person to use. We are limited to approximately 4-5 carts. We have a college student who works with us now to earn some extra money for school. She will be available to assist you in bringing your items in. You can tip if you wish (optional).
Near the registration desk, you will find sign up sheets for the classes, the massage therapist and the album embosser. Please sign up quickly so that you will be sure to get the class or service you like best. These services can fill up quickly. You will also be given some door prize tickets for simply arriving. If you bring a snack to share, you also get tickets. Note that when you make purchases from the vendors, you will get even MORE tickets from the vendors. The more you participate, the more chances you get to WIN!
After unpacking at your ROOMY 6ft table, visit the vendors, catch up with your girlfriends, and start SCRAPPIN’. Please bring layers of clothes as the room may get hot or cold depending on the time of day and number of people in the room. It is impossible to please 170 women!
Dining room: Go out the front doors of crop room and turn left. The dining room is on the left. Class rooms: Go out the front doors of the crop room and turn left. At the end of the hall (past the dining room) there are two doors. The classroom is the left door. Bathrooms: There are bathrooms in the hallway near the classrooms and in the hallway alongside of the crop room. If you go out the door between Harbor Scrapbooking scanning and Scrap Edition, you will see the ladies room there.
You should be able to get your hotel room keys from the hotel front desk after 3 p.m. However, I was told to instruct attendees to go ahead a check prior to 3 p.m. to see if your room is available if you wish. The hotel is located just behind the convention center.
Here is a picture of the back of the convention center and the breeze-way that leads to the hotel. You get to the breeze-way by following the hallway just that runs just outside and along the right side of the conference room. Follow it to the double doors where you will find steps or a ramp to get to the covered breezeway.
Below is an example of a typical agenda for the weekend events. It may vary slightly, however, our goal is to stay consistence unless there is an outside force making a change. You will received an updated paper version of the agenda at your crops space upon arrival to the crop.
Note in some cases, we scan photos for restoration and return originals to you at the event. We then complete the more time consuming restoration process at the home office and mail you the prints. It will depend on the volume of jobs collected on Friday.

Included in your event fee you receive 4 meals and 1 ice cream sundae social all severed in a separate banquet room.
Inside the banquet room is a huge snack area with snacks (healthy and naughty), coffee, ice water and sodas.

Soup (two types), bread sticks, grilled chicken strips and a make your own salad bar buffet. This meal is offered so that you can get a chance to eat after your arrival and set up without having to leave the building to find food. You will get the option to pre-order this meal
In general, I suggest that you DO NOT trying to leave between 3-5:30 p.m. on either Thursday or Friday. You will hit a lot of traffic. Leave way in advance of these times or after. I know everyone has to do what they need to for their own personal situation. These are just my hints and observations over the past few years. 🙂
Each person needs to make her own decisions about the route to take and the time to leave. Below are my hints/observations regarding the drive to Camp Hill from the Annapolis Area (in regular conditions).
When coming from the Anne Arundel county area, there have been two points at which some GPS’s have taken people through towns rather than the straightest routes. Below are the most straight forward directions that I have learned:
-Get on I-97 N – Take I-695 W to – I-83 N (do not let your GPS take you through Baltimore- some GPS’s have taken people through the town of Baltimore rather than around… wait for 83 N)
– Take exit 41A to the LEFT towards Camp Hill 581** GPS will zig zag you through Camp Hill
When coming 83 North, you take exit 41A to the LEFT toward Camp Hill Rt. 581**
**This is the point where some GPS are taking people to the right exit which is 83N towards Harrisburg, PA. This exit it takes you there, however there are many turns around town and over a river. The left exit towards Camp Hill 581 West take you more directly to the hotel.
